Irish prime minister Simon Harris says he regrets Israel's decision to close its embassy in Ireland, but adds that "nobody is going to silence Ireland" -- a country that has been among the most outspoken critics of Israel's response to the October 7, 2023 attacks by Hamas that sparked the war in Gaza. "We value human rights. We respect international law," says Harris.
