3D machining is a common approach for finish milling of sloped parts. A ball nose cutter is generally a good choice to handle the peaks and valleys that are present with intersecting surfaces or slopes. It's also able to handle the changing angles of the slopes themselves. When generating your tool path for a surface like this, we generally recommend avoiding a 0-degree or 90-degree angle. A 45-degree path creates a smoother transition onto and off of the slope, giving you better surface finish due to tool path transitions.
