Dr Ann Reich, Master of Education (Learning and Leadership) at UTS:FASS
Transcript:
The Masters of Education (Learning and Leadership) is a new course here at UTS, I think it’s an exciting, innovative course with lots of different ways in which we’re looking at learning and leadership.
What sets this degree apart from others in this space?
I think it’s our distinctiveness in that we really have worked out a way in which we can get people from diverse learning backgrounds to really engage and collaborate in the classrooms. I think we bring international research into those classrooms in a way where students can engage and take it back to their workplaces immediately. I think what it does is build on UTS’ reputation that we’ve had for over 30 years in this education space, particularly around professional learning and workplace learning, as well as teacher education. I think what that does, is that students are in a space that is innovative. We’ve got new classrooms, we use a lot of new approaches to teaching, and it gives them an opportunity that’s really focused on customising the course to how they want.
