This week's App Delight is Spark Amp: Smart Jam, Chords with James Kennedy.
What we loved about the app:
+ a lot of customisation options for modifying the sound of your amplifier to create something unique or to try and replicate another artist
+ the ability to share the tones you create with friends and strangers online which makes you feel like part of a community of musicians
+ the ability to download and customise other people’s tones, allowing you to start from an artist you know and then build on top of it
The app really offers a lot of options for making some very cool and unique sounds without the need to have a load of pedals and wires all over the place, allowing you to replicate your favourite artists’ sound, or create a truly one-of-a-kind tone of your own.
