Its been awhile since I went to the islands of st john and lazarus. The last time I was here was 2 years ago during an ajing event. In this session, I decided to give shore jigging a go as I needed to test my all new twinpower 24 FE. If not it would be sitting in my cabinet collecting dust🤡.Despite my reel only having about 150-200m of line left, I managed to land this decent size grouper coming in at around 4lb! After losing a huge squid that same day, I was depressed but chose not to give up. So I told my friend that I wanted to try this last spot before we headed back. I kept walking and casting along the breakers and when it came down to my 6-7th cast at this spot, I jigged twice, felt a huge take and the rest was history🤩.So glad that I was able to land this chongus, despite it snagging me twice! Will definitely be back shore jigging, after knowing the “feels”. Sadly I lost something HUGE the next day. What do u think it is? THANKS FOR WATCHING AND SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE!
