Through the South City Way Small Grant Fund, Sustrans and Glasgow City Council were able help SoulRiders continue their SoulSisters programme.
SoulSisters is led by women for women, providing a tailored cycling and personal development programme. The aim is to bring women together from all walks of life through activities such as group rides, road safety, mechanical training and social evenings.
South City Way is a new walking and cycling route linking Queen’s Park with Glasgow City Centre via Victoria Road and Gorbals Street. The project has been funded by Glasgow City Council and Transport Scotland through Sustrans Scotland’s Places for Everyone programme.
