In this vlog, we also attempted to downsize a client's piercing, but even after 4 months, the swelling persisted just like the day she got it. After carefully examining the area, we decided not to downsize and opted to leave her studs in for a longer period until the swelling completely subsides. We know that you all love watching us deal with swollen piercings, so this video is just for you. To give you a quick backstory, her conch piercing wasn't healing properly, for several common reasons such as sleeping on it and not cleaning it properly. As a result of the swelling, she had to remove her original stud at home and replace it with an earring that had a screw back (not a great idea). In this case, it's advisable not to replace the earring itself but instead switch to a longer backing. Lastly, we filmed a clip of our apprentice learning how to pierce a septum, which is always exciting to watch. We hope you enjoy today's vlog!"
