Meet Fateh Singh Bachher, a 14-year-old changemaker from Noida, India, who launched Project Eco Clean to tackle water scarcity and improve access to clean drinking water in underserved communities.
Inspired by the global water crisis, including Cape Town's "Day Zero," Fateh began his journey by raising funds to provide gravity water filters to 350 construction workers and security guards. His efforts expanded to Punjab, where he worked with local leaders to address the depletion of water tables and high TDS levels in schools.
Through a successful fundraising campaign, Fateh raised ₹3 lakhs to install RO systems in nine schools, benefiting over 3,900 students and staff. He also implemented sustainable practices like repurposing wastewater for gardening.
In this video, Fateh shares his mission to promote water conservation and provide clean, safe water to those in need, ensuring that communities understand the importance of safeguarding this vital resource.
