Our historians Sarah Lacy and Rachael Hill have returned for another episode of Experts React; this time, they will watch and react to gameplay from Assassin's Creed Valhalla. This game will take us back to 873 AD, and our historians have taken a close and detailed look at the game and its history assurance. Who were the Vikings, how they lived, what they wore, what they drank and eat, what weapons they used, how they were organized, what are your assumptions and stereotypes about the Vikings, and why they're not accurate? One thing is for sure: they all dreamed of going to Valhalla. An exciting episode, an analytic perspective full of details that you might not have heard before.
In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the story starts in Norway. Eivor's clan leader has agreed to have a king rule over them. So Eivor and her/his brother, Sigurd, decide to go to England to conquer new territories and live freely. The player will have to take part in various missions to find leaders that will agree to let them live freely.
