The Major Basketball League is back and bigger than ever! 🏀🔥 Season 2024/25 is here, and it’s set to be a game-changer. Supported by Matrix Concepts and Li-Ning Malaysia, this season promises unforgettable battles, thrilling moments, and a whole new level of competition.
This year, five elite men teams and will clash on the court, including returning favorites like NS Matrix Deers, Johor Southern Tigers, and Penang Sunrise Youngsters, alongside newcomers such as Sarawak Cola Warriors and Putrajaya Parkcity Heat.
📅 Where and When:
The action kicks off on 22nd November 2024, with games hosted across five iconic locations in Malaysia:
Kluang, Johor: 22nd – 24th November 2024
Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan: 29th November – 1st December 2024
George Town, Penang: 6th – 8th December 2024
Jenjarom, Selangor: 13ed - 15th December 2024 ( Women Circuit )
Kuala Langat, Selangor: 20th – 22nd December 2024
MABA Stadium, Kuala Lumpur: 27th – 29th December 2024
🏀 The league builds to an exciting finale with the Semi-Finals on 2nd, 4th, and 5th January 2025, and the crowning moment of the Finals on 9th, 11th, and 12th January 2025, all held at the historic MABA Stadium.
🌟 What’s New:
For the first time, the MBL will feature a Women’s League, showcasing the extraordinary talent of female athletes. Alongside the men’s league, fans can expect double the excitement and double the inspiration.
💰 With 30 regular season games in a triple round-robin format and a massive RM400,000 prize pool on the line, every matchup will bring heart-stopping action and fierce rivalries.
