Kollaboration
Performerinnen: Sina Brunner & Klara Oehler
A very broadly shaped work that connects and unites two forms of movement. The idea for this piece was born during a joint movement exchange between two interdisciplinary artists in 2020. The acrobat Sina Brunner has communicated her discipline of aerial acrobatics in an intense dialogue with collective member Klara Oehler (contemporary dancer), from which the idea for cooperation and research was born. Our venue allowed us to realize a residency, and during this intensive time, we developed and created a technical approach and new possibilities of movement in and on the cloth. The piece deals with the different bodily perceptions in the floating movement, fixed stance, or vibrations in the air create a restructured sense of one's own body added the second corpus that does not correspond to one's own and is in contact. The teaching of body control and curiosity to fall into a new freedom of movement and contact is an integral part of this exchange. The piece is scheduled to premiere as part of the completed residency at Holzmarkt 25.
