After a three-hour turnaround in Frankfurt, this Korean Air Boeing 747-8 is almost ready to make its way back to Seoul, South Korea. As a thunderstorm was just passing by there was a pretty long queue at the runway waiting for takeoff on Runway 25C, which led to quite a bit of delay. But seeing the engines blasting away masses of water on the wet runway was definitely worth waiting. One also had some scenic views on the rainy cities of Wiesbaden and Mainz with some pretty stunning cloudsurfing towards the evening sun afterwards.
