What better time to try out the camper than when there was going to be a cold snap in Tennessee.

We left through Smoky Mountain National Park, which is always a favorite and headed down to Oconee National Forest near Monticello, Georgia. We stayed the night in a nice free campsite, before heading further south to Apalachicola National Forest in Florida! Never had I planned to visit the panhandle of Florida, but we ended up spending over a week in the area and look forward to being back one day!

Stay tuned for the next leg in our trip, from Apalachicola National Forest to Ochlocknee River State Park (and a visit to Panama City)!
