For peace, there were two winners. Henry dunant and Frederic passy.

Both of them were founders of various humanitarian groups with Henry Dunant being the founder of the red cross.

Chemistry:

Jacobus henricus van’t hoff

He helped us understand the osmotic pressures in solutionsand also, he discovered the laws of chemical dynamics.

Literature:

Renee Francois Armand Prudhomme aka. Sully Prudhomme.

He was a great French essayist and poet.

Physics:

Wilhelm Röntgen


This man discovered the rontgen rays. Also known as. X-rays. Yes the invention of x rays were the cause for getting the nobel prize. The things we got so accustomed to that we don’t even realize that it was a huge discovery back in the day.


Physiology/Medicine:

Emil Adolf Von Behring

He figured out that the person who already had a disease, after surviving, their body creates antibodies, THAT can be transferred to another persons body by transferring the blood from the person who has the antibody to the person who does not have the antibody.



He is also credited for eradicating diphtheria.
