Until 2016, completely wild, visited only by locals, Trita beach due to its good location, but also the characteristics completely change shape, so it was named after the beach bar that takes care of it. Welcome to Psatha beach.
Psatha is a little more than 1 km from Nea Iraklitse and you can approach it by car for a good part, while you have to walk for the last 100-150 m.
The beach has been completely covered with sunbeds and umbrellas of the Psatha beach bar since 2016, but this green environment, clean, calm and transparent water still gives the impression of complete wilderness.
The beach is mostly sandy and partly with finer pebbles.
Entering the water is gradual and after a few meters of fine gravel you will find perfectly fine and clean sand.
Psatha is tucked into the bay and the position is such that it is protected from both winds and waves, so the water here is always calm and in combination with a beautiful and sunny day it has a very nice color.
On June 3, at the time of our visit, preparations were still underway for the opening of the Psatha beach bar, but it could already be seen that the atmosphere would be very nice over the summer.
A special attraction of Psatha beach is this rock to the right of the beach which can be reached by swiming or walking around… The rock is used for jumping into the water, and due to the beautiful color of the water, you can take great photos and videos here.
If you are wondering why barrels protrude from the water in the distance…there is a local shell farm.
Very beautiful beach, close to Iraklitsi, so you can walk to it. Characteristics are quite good, but the greatest value and advantage of this beach is this green environment.
