Welcome to the first Windows Phone 8.1 video which is about installing Windows Phone 8.1 Update (GDR1) in any Windows Phone Device.

This is useful for devices which are stuck with just Windows Phone 8.1 (8.10.12XXX.XXX) without having the GDR1 Update, more info about this is in the Introduction!

Notes
---------------------
• This is tested in LUMIA Devices, but theoretically, it will work with any Windows Phone other than LUMIA devices as well.
• Windows Phone 8 cannot be upgraded directly to Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1, you must need Windows Phone 8.1
• Do not skip chapters of the video, you will face issues by doing that!
• Watch the video carefully as there are several commands which have different syntax for each used here.
• You must filter update CABs for each device you have if you wish to update multiple devices, you cannot use CABs sorted for one device to update another different device!
• If you are trying to download WP Common packaging tools from W.U.T, then refresh the cache and go to this path instead as it's changed now;
"W10M/WP8.1 Group → W10M/WP8.1 PC Tools → Windows Phone common packaging & test tools"
• If you apply this update, then your phone is ready to update all the way to latest GDR1 Build (8.10.14234.375) or even newer than GDR1 too if you ever want to update manually to the latest WP8.1 build from 8.10.14219.341

Common Errors & Solutions
---------------------
• If you are getting "A fatal error occurred the required library hostfxr.dll could not be found" error, then download & install the .NET Runtime 5.0 from the above downloads section.
• If you are getting MSVCP120.dll or 0xc000007b while trying to run Iutool, then install all these one by one; [ Ссылка ]
• If you are getting 0x80070490 during GetDulogs step, then un-plug all the USB Storage devices from your PC and re-run the command.
• If you are getting 0x80188306 during CAB installation, make sure you are using CABs filtered specifically for the device you are getting the error, another device's CABs won't work for another model.
• If you are getting 0x80070057 in any of the steps in CMD, re-check if the command is correct (Path & Syntax)
