LISTEN WITH HEADPHONES and crake up the volume!!!! No but seriously it will allow you to actually hear a difference which your computer speakers most likely won't offer.

Okay so as you all should know the red 2007 Yamaha R6 with the full system dyno tuned akrapovic exhaust (+10ish Horsepower!!) is my bike. It has a power commander 3 and dyno tuned means that the bike was thrown on a dyno and tuned to have the perfect air to fuel ratio with the pipe. Because it is a full system exhaust it does not have the catalytic converter which is a California requirement. The "CAT" dampens noise and essentially clans your exhaust so it doesn't pollute or smell as bad.

The Black 2007 Yamaha R6 belongs to my friend John (yes he got a bike finally!! reveal coming soon!) His bike is completely stock as far as the exhaust goes except he has a slip on. This slip on in particular does not have any packing material on the inside of it to dampen noise. It is basically just a can or megaphone pipe that looks better then having no muffler at all. And it is louder than the stock muffler because the stock one has packing. If John were to get a mid pipe it would remove the catalytic converter and his bike would be louder than anyone should want. (yes the cat dampens quite a bit of noise) Thus in the case of upgrading to a mid pipe I would strongly suggest getting a real slip on such as a yoshimura, two brothers, akrapovic, graves, gytr, m4, FMF, arrow, termignoni, HMF, etc.

No a slip on exhaust doesn't really have any horsepower gain
And yes the bikes were fully warmed up before revved to the moon
gotta love a bike approaching red line and hitting rev limiter 😍
