Pond Plants: Lotus. One of the most beautiful aquatic plants is the Lotus. These pond plants are awesome. The Lotus has large round leaves, and flowers that are very showy. The seed pods in the center of the flowers are often used in dried flower arrangements. Most varieties can grow very large, so give them some room.
