Having just finished "Stalker: Clear Sky", I wanted to get my thoughts about this game recorded as soon as possible, before I fired up the next in the OG Stalker Trilogy, "Call of Pripyat".
Clear Sky is the second game in the original trilogy, but it's actually a prequel to the first, "Shadow Of Chernobyl", improving on many aspects of it's predecessor, with better graphics, improved UI, repair & upgrade options, and the ability to join and fight with factions across the Stalker world.
Personally, I found this single-player game harder than Shadow of Chernobyl, even though I play on Novice, but the beauty with these Stalker games is that as soon as you've finished you want to go back, to revisit the zone and explore all those areas you missed or those quests you skipped over.
Originally released in 2008, and recently polished up for a console release on PlayStation & Xbox, I've got to say that Clear Sky still holds up today, and I highly recommend you buy the whole trilogy when you see them going cheap or in a sale on your respective platform.
A great game!
Thanks, Rob.
