With thick lingering fog just as likely a blue skies, Decembers in Sapa are characterised by rapidly fluctuating temperatures and weather conditions.

This video was filmed on two separate days (3rd and 7th of December) to give you a better idea of what to expect and what to pack.

Sapa generally experiences cool weather in December. It is considered the dry season with temperatures ranging from -2 to 20 degrees Celsius. It is advisable to bring warm clothing and layers as evenings can be chilly.
