A team from the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) carried out surveys of multiple structures, including one near the Shahi Jama Masjid, in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal. A court-ordered survey of the mosque had led to protests which resulted in the loss of four lives on 24 November.
