Steal a getaway vehicle that can be used to help lose the Cops when escaping from the Mission Row Police Station. Tasks: Getaway Vehicle is a mandatory mission of The Gangbanger Robbery strain that is one of the Salvage Yard Robberies that is available in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Chop Shop update. In The Gangbanger Robbery you have to break a prolific gang member out of prison in exchange for the location of a high-profile gang leader's prized car. The mission is started at a random location around San Andreas marked with a "Robbery Task" icon on the radar. Jamal tasks the player to raid a Auto Shop in the nearby area (Burton/Paleto Bay) run by a gang and used as a front for a carjacking ring. He tells the player to break into the place and steal one of the gang's stolen vehicles that can be used as a getaway vehicle during the jailbreak. Once they are inside the Auto Shop, they must steal one the six tuned cars available (including a Greenwood, Buffalo STX, a MonstroCiti, a 300R, a Baller LE (Armored) and a Granger 3600LX), guarded by heavily armed Street Racers. After stealing a vehicle of their chosing, they must drive to Mission Row and choose between three possible locations near the police station that can be used to stash the vehicle to be used during the jailbreak in The Gangbanger Robbery. The player must park the getaway vehicle in one of the three markers available and press the interaction button to confirm the choice. Afterwards, they must leave Mission Row in order to complete the mission.

After purchasing a Salvage Yard Staff, Jamal Amir will introduce the Planning Wall and computer to the player. There, the player can choose from one of a set of three vehicles that cycles out weekly, each increasing in value. Players must then complete Planning Work, Robbery Tasks, then the robbery itself to obtain the car. Players must be registered as a SecuroServ VIP, an Organization CEO or a MC President in any Free Mode lobby type in order to use the Planning Wall. Players can call Jamal at any time to cancel the current active contract. Once a vehicle is selected, Jamal will provide a synopsis and task the player to scope out the area where the mission will take place. After returning from the scope-out, 3 Planning Work missions, one of which is optional, will open up to the player to complete in any order. Along with planning work, 3-4 Robbery Tasks (one of which is optional) will also appear for the player. These missions can be completed at any time in Free Mode by approaching the map blip and contacting Jamal within the green corona. Once the car is obtained, the player may choose to either drive it to Terminal to sell to Yusuf Amir directly, or to break down for scrap at a reduced reward cost, but without the risk of losing value from vehicle crashes. The player may also elect to hold onto the vehicle and complete additional Robberies to collect up to three more vehicles, at which point they may sell all vehicles at once to Yusuf, provided they have enough Associates/Bodyguards to transport the vehicles at once.
