Amtrak’s P42 #100 is one of Amtrak’s most popular Heritage Units. This engine was painted to celebrate Amtrak’s 50th “Birthday” which is in May. 100 is one of 6 locomotives with a 50th Anniversary paint. As soon as I was notified that 100 would be leading Lakeshore Limited train 448 I was able to go to Wellesley Hills and see it. #Amtrak50thAnniversary
