Most PTO operated equipment will have some sort of protection. Either the equipment will be fitted with belts or the PTO shaft will be fitted with a slip clutch or shear pin. This protects the tractor and the equipment in the event that the equipment encounters an immovable object. In this video we talk through the shear bolt protection and show you how to replace it.
