7/26/24 was Day #6 of the seven day annual RAGBRAI ride across Iowa. This day was from Ottumwa to Mt. Pleasant, passing through Fairfield. I joined in from home and rode 42 miles (of the 85 miles) to the finish.
There were plenty of hills and sunshine and the heat increased in the afternoon. Although it was a grueling experience with my old legs triking with no motor, I'm glad I did it. - With over 20,000 cyclists it never got boring as thousands passed me but knowing there were thousands behind me.
The six-minute video I made contains clips and some still shots.
