Gerlitzen Alpe - The Best Slopes in the Heart of Carinthia
Skiing in all directions with a 360° panoramic view on wide and excellently groomed slopes—that's what makes Gerlitzen Alpe stand out. At 1,911 meters, this panoramic mountain offers 21 lift systems and 53 km of fully snow-covered slopes with a total of 34 ski runs. Thanks to our sophisticated and sustainable snowmaking technology, we guarantee snow from December to April, providing the best slopes in the heart of Carinthia. The ski resort features sunny ski runs, breathtaking views, and excellent culinary options. The 15 rustic ski huts and slow food establishments impress with cozy sun terraces, regional products, and top quality.
Due to its manageability and excellent slopes, Gerlitzen Alpe is considered the top family ski resort and is certified as a ski center for beginners, returnees, and families with children. Our modern lift facilities are especially user-friendly and comfortable for both large and small guests. In the Gerlitzen ski and snowboard school, well-trained instructors await motivated ski beginners. Guests who wish to rent their ski equipment can do so at the four rental locations on the mountain.
In the heart of Carinthia, just a few kilometers from the town of Villach, Gerlitzen Alpe is easily accessible. It is located just two minutes from the A2, A10, and A11 motorway junctions, with over 3300 parking spaces in the ski area. Annenheim train station is directly at the base station of the Kanzelbahn, and the free ski bus shuttles throughout the region.
