The 5 is the only Barrow Town Service to be subsidised daily by Cumbria County Council. A half hourly service is provided on Monday to Saturday between North Scale & Barrow Town Hall with three late evening runs extended to Furness General Hospital via Devonshire Road. Due to low passenger numbers, there is no service provided on Sundays or Public Holidays.
