The weekend will be an open exhibition of art inspired by the Power Station. We have had the most fantastic response from artists, and the exhibition will host an amazing collection of art inspired by the iconic building, for sale at all prices with 20% of sales going to three
local arts charities; BAC Beatbox Academy, Theatre503 and World Heartbeat Music Academy.
The weekend will also feature a 3D LEGO Big Build, Royal College of Art exhibition, workshops with the Wandsworth Museum, live print making with up and coming ‘Print Wagon’, The Bee’s Knees play space, musical performances, art workshops, screenings, Scratch Bar food and drinks and the opportunity to learn more about the future of the Battersea Power Station Development. Detailed programme to follow.

Battersea Power Station is at the heart of one of central London’s largest, most visionary and eagerly anticipated new developments, which will see this vast 42 acre former industrial brownfield site – which had been derelict for 30 years – become home to a community of homes, shops, cafes, offices and 18 acres of public space.
The £8bn project will see the creation of a vibrant, mixed-use development – and a new town centre for London. It will offer places to live, work, and shop as well as cultural and event spaces interspersed with community facilities, open space and the revitalisation of the Power Station itself. It will transform this waterfront site into an exciting, authentic and attractive new destination for residents and visitors alike around the clock. The Power Station is expected to be open to the public for the first time in over 30 years in 2019.
The Battersea Power Station site is owned by a consortium of Malaysian investors comprising S P Setia, Sime Darby and the Employees’ Provident Fund. The development management of the project is being undertaken by British based, Battersea Power Station Development Company.
