This was a very difficult case because the tumor had grown into the patient's fascia of the muscle. Since this defect is so bad, Dr. Tehrani can't use a skin graft to close the wound because skin grafts don't take to exposed bone. Therefore, Dr. Tehrani performs a flap skin closure to safely and effectively close the wound.
