DELICIOUS HEALTHY & CHEAP EATING IN MEXICO'S STREET MARKETS!!!

This video is a tour of the largest open air market in Mexico City, La Merced!

WHO the hell says you can't eat healthy in Mexico?!?!

Yes, this is the country of red-meat, cheese, refined white flour, processed sugar... but it's ALSO a country filled with countless fresh fruit and vegetable options!

After Argentina and Brazil, it was SO nice to finally be able to eat in restaurants and street markets again without breaking the goddamn PIGGY-BANK... OR turning into a PIGGY!!! 😉

If you know where to look, you can find local joints with incredible food that seriously won't set you back more than $2-3 a meal. No more having to cook my food just to save money!

Do yourself a favor when you come to Mexico, and TRY ALL THE WEIRD FRUIT YOU'VE NEVER TRIED.

Also on the menu... STREET GORDITAS. I get mine with just beans, veggies and chili sauce. They cost 20 pesos ($1) each. Eat two, and you will be full!

The next meal cost almost $4, easily the most expensive, but it was SO WORTH IT.

Acai berry and red beet smoothie plus a burger made from chick peas and plantains with a side of sweet potato fries!

Avacado and banana smoothie with avocado waffle sandwich stuffed with breaded veggies, plus a nice side salad.

A chili pepper topped with sauce and beans only costs about $2 at the local restaurants!

When I walk around town, I am always buying cups filled with fresh fruit mixes from the street vendors. These never cost more than $1, and if you ask, they will sprinkle some SPICE on there, just to LIGHT UP YO SHIT!!!

Not only am I now 10 days sober and not missing the BOOZE a bit, I am eating right and wanted to share the GOOD FEELS...

Get your ass out to MEXICO because here, you can EAT LIKE A KING, but on a PEASANTS BUDGET!!!
