Since their introduction in the Lorwyn block in 2007, Planeswalkers have been a major part of Magic the Gathering in casual and competitive play. However not every Planeswalker has lived up to even the most basic expectations of viability. While we will be looking at the worst planeswalkers, we will specifically be referring to mythic rare planeswalkers. There have been both uncommon and rare Planeswalkers but those are both more recent and far less common, and by default are generally less powerful than mythic rare planeswalkers. We will also be excluding planeswalkers printed in Introduction decks, given that they were purposely designed to be unplayable in constructed formats and only really used by new players. Every other Planeswalker however is fair game for consideration.
