Heavy rain and hail caused flooding in Reutlingen as a major storm hit the city, police and fire officials said.

Due to the large number of large hailstones in Reutlingen, it was like winter in the middle of summer. One or two centimeter hailstones also clogged sewers and flooded roads. According to the city of Reutlingen, the height of the hail layer in the city center was 30 centimeters.
