Pend Oreille River Kayak Trip, 3 Day Kayak trip from Box Canyon Dam to Boundary Dam on the beautiful Pend Oreille river. This is by far the best 20 mile section of the river to kayak. The river starts out in an open valley and narrows at the town of Metaline. Shortly after you run Metaline Falls and enter one of the most spectacular gorges I have ever seen. We make it a 3 day tour. Day 1 we camp in the town of Metaline and then the next day after running metaline falls and the canyon we camp along the free flowing river. The last day we paddle up to Pewee falls for an ending to remember.
