In this episode, I explore the manipulative aspects of the gospel message, focusing on how the concept of Jesus’s sacrifice is often used to create feelings of guilt, shame, and obligation. While many find comfort in this story, I believe it’s important to question the necessity of blood atonement and the reasoning behind god's supposed need for sacrifice. Why does an all-powerful deity require such a system? If you’ve ever felt uneasy about the message of the crucifixion or have lingering doubts, this video encourages you to ask the hard questions that might have been discouraged in church.
