"Stronghold" is a campaign level in Call of Duty: WWII. The mission depicts the struggle to take back the French town of Marigny, by capturing the local church. Taking house by house, the player progress towards the church as bombs drop on the town. Upon entering the church, Daniels is attacked by a German soldier wielding a flamethrower which disrupts the church environment and causes several structures to collapse. After climbing onto the bell tower, he provides cover fire for Allies on the street with a sniper rifle. The church gets bombed by German airplanes, after which Daniels escapes from the collapsing building and defends the perimeter with Pierson and Stiles.
