Chronic Kidney Disease is a permanent, irreversible, progressive, gradual decline in renal function. The causes include diabetes mellitus, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, painkillers, metallic compounds, multiple UTI and genetic diseases. The symptoms of CKD are swelling around the eyes and feet, weakness or fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, dryness or itchiness and low haemoglobin. It can be treated by a transplant and dialysis in the advanced stages.
