Instant Kava is dehydrated brewed kava. This is not to be confused with micronized kava which is just kava root milled to a very fine micron rating. Instant Kava has many applications as an additive to other culinary creations like kava chocolate, kava ice cream, and kava smoothies to name a few.
We created a simple way for you to make your own instant kava extract at home with the kava root powder of your choice.
What you'll need:
AluBottle Kava Maker - [ Ссылка ]
An extra AluBall Brewing Ball - [ Ссылка ]
AeroPress - [ Ссылка ]
Traditional or Micronized Kava Root Powder - [ Ссылка ]
How to make Instant Kava Extract:
1) Fill two AluBall Brewing Balls with 1-2 Tbsp of Kava root powder each.
2) Fill AluBottle with 6oz of warm water
3) Shake AluBotttle with AluBalls and water for 30 seconds to a minute.
4) Remove AluShell cap and pour freshly brewed kava into shell.
5) Assemble Aeropress with x2 paper filters inserted
6) Mount Aero press on top of AluBottle and pour brewed kava into aeropress
7) Plunge Aeropress to remove water from brewed Kava (Hardest Part: Give Aeropress a shake in between pulses to loosen any clogging)
8) Remove Aeropress filter cap and pop plunger completely through
9) Scrape off instant kava extract and use as additive to your kava chocolate recipe, etc.
10) (Optional) Spread paste on a sheet of aluminum foil to dry instant kava out into a powdered form to be used later.
