One last super big pro I forgot to mention was USB-C charging! These guys have it! As every electronic in 2021 should.
Although I decided to return mine, I did buy another headphone from skullcandy, the Push True Ultra which doesn't use silicone tips and has a more apple like design. To stay on your ear it uses earloops. I bought the amazon renewed ones to save money since I really only need them for working out.
Review on that coming out after I get them!
That being said, here is a summary of all the ways I thought these indy evo earbuds were better than airpods:
longer battery life
built in ear hooks/wing tips
sweat resistance
tile tracking
weight
USB-C charging
Gestures actually work
WAY CHEAPER
BUT they weren't as comfortable, the case was larger, and the way vocals sounded could have been better.
There are more expensive versions of these though that have ANC so that might be worth looking into. I'm not getting them because those are probably going to be just as uncomfortable as these ones.
