Here is a close up view of mourning doves in the wild and how they interact to incubate and then raise a brood of chicks. I believe that the mourning doves do communicate with each other as they take turns incubating the eggs and then feeding the nestlings. This video covers the first 15 days from when the second egg is laid to when they hatch and get their first feeding from both the mom and dad. I will be putting together the rest of the story which follows the chicks as they grow up and eventually fledge from the nest. I hope you enjoy the video!
