In this episode of Mirror Metro, the host Shreya Dhoundial will be discussing how the Hyderabad Police detained YS Sharmila, the leader of the YSR Telangana Party, on Tuesday as she approached Pragati Bhavan, K Chandrasekhar Rao's official house. She was taken to the SR Nagar Police station in Hyderabad after being taken into custody in Somajiguda. Before Sharmila was arrested, police used a crane to haul away her car as she was inside it making a statement against Telangana CM KCR. The cops reportedly had to summon a locksmith to access the car's gates after Sharmila reportedly locked the vehicles from the inside. In the meantime, YS Vijayamma, Sharmila's mother, departed her Hyderabad home to see Sharmila. After a fight broke out between members of the YSRTP and the ruling Bharata Rashtra Samithi in Warangal on Monday, Sharmila was briefly jailed.

"We had planned a peaceful protest at CM's residence & we haven't done any violent act" said YSRTP Spokesperson Mateen Mujaddady.
"They were creating a ruckus, creating drama, stopping traffic, blocking the roads, is this called a democratic protest?" said TRS Spokesperson Ravula Sridhar Reddy.
"Today's exhibition was clearly an aggressive political act to grab sympathy" said Senior Journalist Madhavan Narayanan.
