I received a "smart" jetsonic that was no longer very smart. It was the version that used low current multiplexing and had numerous control boards in the bar and a proprietary controller. The boards and controller had seen much better days and I set out trying to make the bar "smart" again. The idea behind the bar is that the rotators can act as flashers in a secondary mode. This requires the rotators to turn to and stop at a home position. I dug in and got the whole thing working but couldn't get the rotators to consistently go to or stay in home position. I knew the solution required a quick switching of the motor power wire to ground. The diode, wiring and micro switch were all there. I just couldn't figure out how to flip the power to ground for braking with the ability to override to rotate again. With the help of an elightbars.org member I figured it out. I have a reliable setup to both rotate and home the rotating reflectors. Next comes adding the code 3 flashers with steady burn override to make the rotators illuminate when rotating and flash when stationary. Another youtuber also did this, I'm not sure if he used the same trick.
