Just a quick one to show you the new wheelslip feature on the Wensleydale 37. If you open the throttle fully from stationary or at slow speed the wheels will slip and the driver will take off the power and re-apply it. Line speed does not rise during the slip. From stationary you will slip three or four times before the loco finds its feet if you leave the throttle wide open. There are three different slip sound sequences so plenty of variety. You can stop slipping at any point by backing off the throttle slightly, and you can still do a full thrash take-off without slipping by opening the throttle to around 80-90% instead of full. These sounds are available now in 37/0 & 37/4 form. Recorded on an iphone with no audio processing whatsoever. EM2 speakers really do sound like this!
