MERLIN is a Business in the Community programme that aims to inspire and raise aspirations of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic young people through their interacting with business professionals of similar ethinicity who can serve as inspirational examples and role models. The role models in this video are Asian men and women of Muslim faith.

Aaqil was one of the very first Asians to train in graphic design but his interest in photography led him into television where he now plans a major role in commissioning new programmes. He has been able to make a very positive contribution to television.
