The well was bought by the Prophet Jacob a.s. Later, Jesus a.s. (Isa a.s.) came to this place after being baptized | Ghusul in Qasr al Yahud in Jericho.
Commissioned by Mawlana Grandsheikh Mehmed Adil Er Rabbani (qs) and as Honorary Chair of the European Centre for Sufism and Interreligious Encounters e.V., Sheikh Eşref Efendi tours the world with his "Sufi Way to Peace" initiative building bridges between different religions and cultures.
