DPM Lawrence Wong spoke about the challenges he faced in communicating in other languages, including "struggling" in his mother tongue as a youth, and the progress he has made in mastering both Malay and Mandarin.
He spoke with local media on May 10, five days before he is slated to be sworn-in as Singapore's fourth prime minister.
