A new partnership between New Salem Borough and the Northern York Regional Police Department (NYCRPD) aims to provide residents with more comprehensive law enforcement services.
The transition began on Jan. 1 and is part of a $76,000 contract between the municipality and the police department.
The department promises 24/7 coverage, prompt responses to calls for service and collaborative work alongside local leaders.
