Mango raita is a simple yogurt based raita | dip, pairs well with parathas, pulaos or even with some chips too.
Mango 1
Fresh yogurt 1 cup
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder 1/4 tsp
Salt as needed
Mint leaves few
Method:
Peel the skin of the mangoes and cut half portion of them into small bite sized pieces and half of them into big slices.
Discard the seed.
Puree the big slices in a mixer.
In a wide bowl add the mango puree. Add fresh yogurt to this.
Ensure that the yogurt is not sour.
Add the red chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, pepper powder and salt to this.
Whisk well without any lumps.
Add the bite sized mango pieces and gently mix this into the yogurt mixture.
Reserve few for garnishing.
Garnish with some mangoes and mint leaves.
Serve chilled.
