Journal Writing
• Have a reason for keeping a journal.
• Have an interesting persona to tell the story.
• Give a sense of reflection and judgement of events – don’t just record them.
• If there is more than one entry, they should reflect a PROCESS of change.
Structure
• Date/Time/Entry No/Weather
• Action and suspense worth recording.
• Gives enough orientation that the story can be quickly gathered.
• Signing off name/serial number/position/rank.
