This was the easiest spark plug change I ever did. have to thank the good people over at the "Mazda 6 Club" forums, for all the great advice I got there before I started. Very much appreciated!
The spark plug socket is 14mm. My kit didn't have that size, so I ran to the store before starting.
The bolts for the coils are 8mm, or 5/16".
Other products needed include; dielectric grease, silicone spray, and anti-seize.
The bolt that fell, took 7 minutes to retrieve. It was on top of the plastic skid pan that's below the engine on these cars. By tapping on the skid pan, I was able to hear where the bolt was bouncing, so I used the speaker magnet to drag it into a place where it could be seen from above. Then I used the wand magnet from above, to get it out.
"Part 2" shows the end of retrieval and final touches, but this vid is essentially the process.
