On 14 June 2023, Opera Rara’s Repertoire Consultant Roger Parker joined Opera Rara’s Chief Executive Henry Little for a talk about the method of restoring rare and forgotten operas and what it means to be a part of “live operatic archaeology”. Mezzo-soprano Kezia Bienek and pianist James Southall perform songs and arias illustrating the discovery process. The event was presented in partnership with the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and BBC Cardiff Singer of the World.
